About Us

A & A White Sewing Center has been a staple in the New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs and Holiday communities for over 40 years. We are conveniently located at 4038 Louis Ave Suite 104 in Holiday. Although the owners Sherrie and Mike Mauzy have only owned the business since 2016 they bring a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to the table. Mike is the certified Baby Lock and Brother technician and has been working on sewing machines since he was in high school. All repairs are done on site, and if it can be fixed he can fix it, and that includes all makes and models. If your sewing machine is in need of repair no problem!!! We can repair your machine onsite and make it as good as new, if not you can always buy a new one from us too! Here at AA White Sewing Center we sell the best and fix the rest!

Sherrie has been sewing since she was 4 years old. She learned hand embroidery from her grandmother. Her mother, taught her to sew clothing. Later she continued sewing in school – Home EC and 4H Club where she was awarded several ribbons at the local fair. She is experienced in home dec, quilting, applique, and custom embroidery. Both her and Mike have backgrounds in computer science, business management, sales and marketing.

We want to be your one stop shop for all your quilting, sewing, fabric, and embroidery needs. We call our store “The Happy Place”. Feel free to stop by and check out our custom quilts, buy supplies, or ask one of our expertly trained staff members about our every evolving schedule of classes for beginners and experienced alike.
